Get your Growler

A new craft beer lifestyle periodical is launching in Minnesota today, The Growler.

The Growler is a bi-monthly magazine focuses on everything craft beer, from community to the culture surrounding it. It was created and published by the people that bring you The Beer Dabbler—producers of craft beer sampling around the Twin Cities. Beginning today, you can find the publication in more than 300 craft beer hot spots, including finer stores, restaurants and bars. The magazine is complimentary and will be published every two months with a mission to educate and entertain a wide spectrum of craft beer drinkers.

The content promises to be engaging. It will feature stories, regular columns, an events calendar, brewer profiles, restaurant reviews, comics, music, recipes, bikes & beer, and more.

The premiere issue looks at pairing outdoor adventures and northern Minnesota breweries, a retrospective of the passing of the "pint law" a year after its signing, and an interview with Jacquie Berglund (philanthropist and founder of Finnegan’s) about her work and Finnegans’ Mission of “Turning beer into food.”
