Join us in celebrating the national repeal of prohibition and the passing of the 21st amendment.

On December 5th, 1933, America ratified the 21st Amendment, repealing Prohibition and restoring the American right to a celebratory drink. Join us as we celebrate the repeal of prohibition, and the passing of the 21st amendment.

We will tap 2011 Odell Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, rabble rouse, and discuss changes to the current legal system. Participants are encouraged to come in “olde timey” clothes and costumes Circa 1933. We will also have a petition you can sign supporting the sale of alcohol on Sundays in Minnesota, one of the few prohibition-era laws we still need to change.

SECTION 1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use there in of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited.

SECTION 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by conventions in the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.
