In this masterful Imperial IPA, the brewers at Colorado have used the pale version of their native Rapadura sugar. It give the beer a slight alcoholic boost and serves to even out the heavy malt character. The result is an intensely hoppy beer with a tremendous amount of poise and grace. The body is moderate and the “moreish” quality is high! Aromas of tropical fruits, jasmine and honey dominate the nose.
