About the Speakers
Omar Ansari is the founder and owner of Surly Brewing Company. Now in its seventh year, the brewery was Minnesota’s first new brewery west of the Mississippi since 1987 and is credited with contributing to the explosion of microbreweries and craft brews in the state. |
Alec Johnson is an associate professor in the Entrepreneurship Department, specializing in financial performance, small businesses strategy and start-up financing. He is active in developing cases studies focused on opportunity identification, business models, entrepreneurial management and entrepreneurial finance.
