The Minnesota Fringe Festival is upon us and The Theater of Public Policy has a great show featuring Minnesota beer historian, Doug Hoverson, who is the author of Land of Amber Waters. He will share interesting stories from our state’s brewing history that may include tales about Bavarian breweries started by our earliest immigrants, the dark times known as prohibition, or the “Golden Era” of beer. We’re keeping his specific stories under wraps, because a team of talented improvisers will be hearing them for the first time too and then will bring everything to life using improv comedy.
The show is on Friday, August 8 at 4:00 pm at the Bryant Lake Bowl (801 W Lake Street, Minneapolis). Tickets are $12 + $4 for a Fringe Festival Admission button.
