Bemidji Brewing Company is excited to announce its first ever sour beer bottle release: Flanders Sour Red Ale aged on both blackberries and raspberries, to be released in the Taproom on Saturday, July 11, 2015.
Along with the limited bottle release (only 200 bottles will be available), this new sour, as well as 3 additional
Bemidji Brewing sour beers will be on tap that day:
● Vintage 2014 Flanders Sour Red Ale
● Vintage 2014 Raspberry Flanders Sour Red Ale
● Berliner Weisse, a traditional wheat based German ale that is tart and low alcohol.
Now, after 11 months of aging, 8 in the barrel, and 3 on fruit, the newest blend of beer that originated in a barrel is ready. Being only the third blend released from Bemidji Brewing’s Sour Beer Program, this Flanders Sour Red Ale will be an experience you don’t want to miss. Blackberries and red raspberries add a luscious fruity character to this lactic tart ale and help provide a lean dryness and quenching acidity.
BBC is also excited to welcome the Minnesota BeerCast to the Taproom that day for a live broadcast!
