Another year older and another year wiser. On the heels of our recent expansion, 612Brew closes in on one year, and what a year it’s been.
Over the past year 612Brew has brewed over 1,650 barrels of beer, exceeding expectations, highlighted by two flagship beers, a taproom-only offering and 11 seasonal and specialty brews. 612Brew beers are available in 100 bars and restaurants around the metro from Chanhassen to Oakdale and from Maple Grove to Apple Valley. In a partnership with Tuned Beer, 612Brew has also been available in bottles in over 70 Twin Cities Metro liquor stores.
The new year offers new opportunities for growth, diversity and a greater focus and attention to quality. With the new fermenters, we have enough room and time to keep lager beers on year round. It also allows us to never compromise and have to rush a beer to keep up with demand. We continue to add jobs within the brewery and continue to partner with our great community of breweries in Minnesota and especially here in the Northeast Brewers District. We are also excited for the future for 612Brew in liquor stores in 2014, but we’ll save that info for a little bit later.
Time flies when you are having fun and as old adage says, “you never work a day in your life if you love what you do”. In what feels like the blink of an eye, we are excited to celebrate our One-Year Anniversary with you, the Minnesota craft beer drinkers that make what we do feel so worthwhile. Therefore we want to throw a party and show our gratitude. On Thursday February 13, 2014, we invite you to visit the taproom for a night of fun and special events. Here are some of the highlights.
